21 Slay the Beast

Beasts can effectually be slain by starvation. Stop feeding them and they will eventually become extinct. They will roar with gasping breath until the last; but they will expire in the end.

That hideous Monster of Prosperity masquerading as “Church” can be thus overcome. The solution is simple; Stop paying money to feed the Beast. Bring no more tithes, offerings, thanksgivings, levies, dues, seed-faith, fines, first-fruits, and contributions to gorge its belly. Let the Beast starve.

Let Prosperity perish miserably. Let this Dragon-Child die the death.

Rather, give to the poor. Open your hand freely to your needy brother. Gladly support sincere and genuine servants of God. Bless the orphan and widow from your substance with joy.

Of course, if you yourself love the Monster Dragon-Child-Beast of Prosperity, this will never happen. In that case, your belly has become your god, the Dragon your father, and the whore of Prosperity your illicit mother. The love of money will plunge you and your adopted family into flaming pits of ruin and destruction where the worm never dies; and there you will roar unendingly – there will be no end of that there. Better to starve the Beast now than to gnash one’s teeth in everlasting torments then.

The rapacious Beast of Prosperity will not only consume your money, it will devour your soul.

“People corrupted in their minds and destitute of the truth imagine that godliness is a means to financial gain. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires/lusts that pull them down to ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered away from the faith in their greediness and stabbed themselves with many sorrows” -1 Timothy 6:5,9,10.

Do not be deceived; the Beast of Prosperity will cancel any spiritual progress in your life. “The seductiveness of riches/wealth choke the Word and it becomes unfruitful, producing nothing” –Matthew 13:22. Worse still, this ravaging Beast will turn you into a hater of God while you bow at its shrine. “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon/Riches/Wealth” –Luke 16:13.

No, you cannot. If you love Wealth, you hate God. If you are devoted to Riches you despise the Lord. If you love God, you hate Mammon’s deception. If you are devoted to the Lord you disdain Riches. And as if this could not get any worse, desiring riches constitutes you to be an idolater. Yes, an idolater.

“For of this you can be sure, no covetous greedy person who is an idolater will ever receive an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God” –Ephesians 5:5. Slay the Beast of Prosperity.

Otherwise, you remain depraved and fruitless, having departed into wandering lost paths. Ruin and destruction await you as you continue to suck up the sap from this taproot of all evil. You are a hater of God while continuing to prostrate before this idol-whore of Prosperity. Slay the Beast or be slain by it.

Should you continue in this delusion, do not imagine that you are Christian; you are not. Jesus emphatically says that you are not: you cannot serve God and Prosperity. “Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were listening to all these things and were scoffing at Him. And Jesus said to them, ‘You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly valued/esteemed/prized among men is a detestable abomination the sight of God’” –Lk.16:14,15.

Love of money is utterly detestable in God’s sight. It is a corrupting deathly plague in Christendom. Slay this Beast! Stop gorging its belly by stuffing money down its gaping throat! Let this Monster die.

“Flee these things!” -1 Timothy 6:11. “Flee youthful lusts!” -2 Timothy 2:22. “Flee from the midst of Babylon and each one save his life!” –Jeremiah 51:6. The true flock of Christ, His real sheep, do not hearken to hirelings. They “flee from them because they do not know the voice of strangers” –John 10:5.

“Flee from idolatry!” – 1 Corinthians 10:14. That is what Prosperity is: idolatry. Slay the Beast.
